Black MacBook Review by Maestro
I have had my macbook since the summer and I've had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever. This machine runs like a tank. I have read and hear all these stories about problems with them and such. I guess I was lucky enough to get a perfect model b/c like I said its worked flawless. I have recommended the macbook line to many friends thinking of switching back to mac. I have also recommended mac's in general to my family b/c of spyware problems with their PC's.
If I could change anything about the black macbook I would probably change the video out port. Why does Apple have to make an extra adapter that you have to buy in order to use an external monitor? That's just one more thing I have to buy. Or if they want more people to use and buy mac's include the adapter so that mac's can be used more in the workplace. I am a teacher so I want to use my mac more with my students and my classroom but having to buy extra equipment after I just dished out 1500.00 for the black macbook seems rather annoying. Also, since I'm on here to give my likes and dislikes, one thing that really pissed me off but of course I paid the price was the price difference for a BLACK model. I mean c'mon Apple what is the !@#$ deal? Yeah, of course people are going to pay it (I did), but if you want more people to use mac's make them more affordable. Some of these decisions you guys make are really pathetic. Oh well, I guess that about does it. Thanks for reading my post.

And just so people know, the DVI to DVI or the DVI to VGA adapters are 17 dollars. Its not a giant investment, and as much as it pisses you off that you it doesnt come standard, it pisses me off when I read reviews and thats one of the things they complain about. I dont want to sound harsh or anything, but Id just like to let people know that its a 17 dollar investment and not some giant overly priced thing.
And, the price difference in the end between a macbook white and macbook black is 60 dollars. A macbook white comes standard with an 80GB harddrive, while a macbook black comes standard with a 120GB. After upgrading the macbook white to a 120GB harddrive, the price difference is 60 dollars... again, not that big of an investment if you value color.
Thanks
adios.
they dont charge extra for color, they charge extra for the extended hard-drive.
Also it is a little plastic and copper less in trash.
