Wauw!! This black macbook is really sexy. Just checked both white and black models out in my local mac store, and though the white one is (as always) beautiful, I like the fact that the black one has a different "surface material"...I'm considering getting it, since my white iBook got stolen last saturday... :-(

why is everyone so hyped about a freakin black macbook, one of the reasons it costs so much apart from the bigger hd is getting the black plastic for some of the ports... waste of money!

I just got the white macbook with 160Go hard drive and since I have 14 days to excange it, I was considering gettint the black one. Actually, the salesperson didn\'t give me all the infos correctly. Since the only thing different besides the color is the hard drive, you can still consider buying a portative external hard drive for less then 200$. This is what I think I will do and I also recommand it. I just saw one that is 139$ for 320Go hard drive(really small-size of an iphone). To be considered...don\'t you think? Beside, the white macbook is different...you see a lot of laptops that are black but the white one are rare...and much more nice, according to me.
