it doesnt irritate and harm your wrists in any way. That is, if you type right. But if you type exaclt yhow your not supossed to, with your hands resting on the palmrest, then chances are youll get some very minor cut looking marks, only for a while though. Also, typing with your hands rested can lead to carbon-tunnel(sp?) Which basically means after you get it, it hurts to even move your wrists =D.

that's why i used hot glue around the edges. it makes it a little softer, and since i did it slowly and carefully, it's smooth and lets the top close fine.

Those edges look sharp but I think that they do not harm your wrist if you type with the keyboard in the right way which is without resting your wrists on the edges.
